For The Love And Worthy Cause Of Bosso.

Highlanders FC “Bosso – Tshilamoya”, of Zimbabwe have undertaken to be part of the Anti-Xenophobia campaign in a match penciled for Johannesburg stadium on the 25th July 2010, against Jomo Cosmos “Ezenkosi”, of South Africa.

For the lovers of the former Zimbabwe champions who have been reduced to an ordinary outfit partly due to lack of funding, their team is a matter of life and death. Mantengwane, ‘The team of the Nation’ as they call it, will be travelling by road on an 8 hour drive across the border, probably in a dilapidated Taxi.

The morale of the boys as they come for an international friendly is of paramount importance if they are to play well. Fans who do not want to be disgraced by bad performance resulting from the uncomfortable travel will better come up with proper and reasonable transport arrangement for Bosso.

It will not do any one any favours to watch a team that travels miles to come for a beating because they will be packed in a Taxi like canned sardines.

All Highlanders FC fans, supporters, well wishers and sympathisers will be requested to provide for a luxury coach or indeed flight tickets if they can. The organisers of the match are already setting things up trying to get a live music show to drive the Anti-Xenophobia message home. nonetheless, call the organisers with your offers for the luxury bus or plane tickets.

Tickets are available at a Computicket/Shoprite Checkers near you for R20,00 only. According to the organisers, T-shirts and winter hats are now available at SAWIMA office ; 87 De Korte street and Melle, 5th floor office 513, Braamfontein in Johannesburg. The price of T-shirts ranges from  R 70 ,00 to R200,00. Winter hats cost just R50.00

Free Tickets for the Tsendex’s Diski Blog readers will be available at the SAWIMA offices soon.

The South Africa 2010 FIFA World Cup is in full swing, with the spirit of celebration still going on, let us remember to keep our oneness as we support the remaining African team to do us proud, and to send the message to our brothers and sisters here is South Africa through to the neighbouring countries.
