Bosso are not Champion material ,

I know this headline will raise a few eye brows from some Bosso faithful, but if one is really to analyze the way the oldest team in the premiership has performed you will see that they have not lost yes but it is just only a matter of time and their quality is going to be shown by the way they will rise from their first defeat.

At the end of the season the unconvincing draws they have played out against some very weak teams will come back to haunt them, come to think of it, it is actually a surprise that they are occupying the pole position on the log standings, their failure to convert chances will work against them and they need to find a recognized striker who can just put the ball at the back of the net because at the moment they have midfielders who can score but the time will come where they will fall short.

When the time comes to separate boys from men, they will be standing with the men but they won’t be ‘The Man,’ they are just pretenders to the throne. By Sbue ,

  1. THIS ANALYSIS COULD BE TRUE BUT YESTERDAY,PLAYING AGAINST NEMESIS DYNAMOS,BOSSO PRODUCED A STELLLAR OF A SHOW WORTH FOR THE ARCHIVES.
YES WE NEED A AN OUTRIGHT STRIKER AND GIVEN THE REVENUE WE GENERATED YESTERDAY WE SHOULD BE ABLE TO MAKE A GOOD BUY EVEN FROM DIVISION ONE.
MARK MY WORDS,COME END OF THE SEASON THIS TEAM WILL BE ZIMBABWEAN CHAMPIONS;I REST MY CASE

    • Good to hear that promising opinion. We look forward to the day we will pop the champagne. I am already inviting myself to your party.

  2. I beg to differ with the title of this analysis. Although some aspects of it may be true, ie the need for a recognised striker, the current Highlanders squad IS a championship winning team. even if you look at the history books, when Highlanders went for 12 games unbeaten in 2006, they went on to win the championship. So did CAPS United in 2004 when they went for 15 games unbeaten, which is still the record for a team going unbeaten in a season in the modern domestic premiership. History aside, the current style of play at Highlanders has proved invincible to date and the fact that our bad spell is characterised by draws instead of losses speaks volumes about the calibre of players we have. Looking at our opponents in the league, which team looks likely to overturn the results we posted against them in the first half of the season?

  3. i am a Bosso supporter as well as an upcoming coach.I agree with the notion that Bosso lack the fine edge in attack. At the present moment,Kaindu is employing a 4-5-1 formation with Milton ncube playing just behind Graham in Attack.Given the limitations on Physique/stamina these players have, the system allows for more scoring options with Rio(who plays the lionel Messi Role),Mambare,Munava joining in from midfiled when we are in attack.I like the Barcelona philosophy we have adopted in the build ups from the back, the passing initiated by Mthulisi,If we could get a Powerfully built forward to play as a pivot for the mdifielders, then we will kill all teams this season. We already are miles ahead of the pack here in Zim so dont worry about the championship it will be ours as,,but we need to have a possible African adventure next year in mind and start preparing the team in this direction and bringing in more options in these grey areas, especially in attack.

    • so far bosso is a team to beat in the league, 12 games unbeaten speak volumes they have to balance their squad as of p
reparing to conqueer africa. bosso .
