Former Highlanders player, Honour Gombami perennial injuries has forced his Belgian club, Cercle Brugge not to review his contract as he is said to be a risk.
“My contract with Cercle Brugge ended on June 30 and they told me that they would not renew the contract since i have stayed long without playing” said Gombami who suffered a nasty injury in 2009.
He only played three games after recovering.
Gombami said he is now finalizing a new deal with second division one side, Antwerp.
He said he is not worried that he would be playing in a lower division.
